Pagi ini saya membaca satu emel tentang panduan kepada masyarakat islam yang berada di UK ini, rententan daripada isu pengeboman di London dan Glasgow baru-baru ini. Emel yang dihantar oleh pihak JPA dari london dikirim oleh salah seorang kawan dari sheffield itu meminta pihak pelajar dan penduduk muslim supaya berhati-hati dalam menghadapi isu ini kerana jika ianya tidak diambil berat dikhuatiri akan berlaku suasana tidak selesa dikalangan masyarakat antarabangsa. Memang peristiwa ini agak merunsingkan. Kerana kalau kita lihat keadaan yang berlaku itu cukup menyayatkan dan ini semacam membangkitkan kemarahan pelbagai masyarakat antarabangsa. Ia juga memberi kesan yang cukup negatif kepada imej umat islam seluruh dunia. Di sheffeild ini nampaknya agak kurang sikit jika dibandingkan dengan kawasan bandar seperti di London. Rakan-rakan saya di sesetengah tempat yang kebanyakan masyarakat bukan islam juga semakin risau dengan keadaan mereka.
Nampaknya inilah yang dinamakan cabaran bagi umat islam akhir zaman. Di mana dek kerana 'nila setitik rosak susu sebelanga'.
Saya nyatakan juga sebahagian daripada makluman daripada pihak JPA london untuk tatapan dan perhatian kita :

While there is yet any injuries to the innocent, please exercise extreme caution when venturing out of your house/accomodation. At the moment, we are not privy to the details of threat or where, but the UK Government has put the level of security to the highest possible - "Critical". Needless to say, we have to be very careful of our safety and that of our friends. Furthermore, the threat of harm need not necessarily come from 'terrorist' but could also be due to retaliation and/or profiling by the locals. So in view of the extenuating circumstances above, please do not ignore normal safety precautions.

2. Please do not walk alone in secluded or lowly lit areas. Where possible, travel/walk in groups.
3. Please do not behave in a manner that will attract the unnecessary attention of others.
4. Please infrom your friends of your whereabout in UK, should they/we need to contact you.
5. Please get to know your friends, especially foreigners, before going out or associating yourself with them.
6. Please bring your student ID all the time.
7. Please key-in JPA London's phone number as your ICE (In Case of Emergency) number. Please see our number below.
8. If you are away from UK, please have the courtesy to inform JPA London of the dates and place.
